Bow Tie: The Tie Bar, 100% of proceeds go to tietheknot.org in support of marriage equality.
So a few weeks ago Jesse Thorn posted over at PutThisOn about a great way to meld menswear with marriage equality vis-a-vis the TieTheKnot.org, an organization co-founded by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his partner Justin Mikita dedicated to advocating for marriage equality. I of course immediately bought one of the bow ties, available exclusively through The Tie Bar, and it arrived last week when I was in the throes of my ‘one week of vintage Brooks Brothers ties’ challenge. Today is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to wear it, and I do so proudly.
On the move…
