Casual Refinement: Spread Collar Oxford Cloth Shirt by Ratio Clothing
Since I seldom have reason to really dress up, I like to play with combinations in my clothing that put pressure on the sartorial distinctions between high/low, formal/informal. This is something I really get to indulge when I am afforded the opportunity to ‘design’ a custom item, be it a jacket, or, in this case, a shirt. Here I opted for the more casual fabric of an oxford cloth, but paired it with the more rarefied and dressy wide spread collar. The result is, I think, quite fun and very subtle.
