I’ve been wanting this Fair Isle sweater from J. Crew since it was available in a slightly different colorway last winter. Unfortunately, the retail price of $118 was a little too high to justify in my book for a decent-but-not-great lambswool sweater from the Crew (the Lands’ End ‘first clip’ lambswool sweaters are of much better quality in my opinion). The other day, however, it was an additional 40% off $69, so I jumped. Can’t say that I’m disappointed.

WIWOYA: What I Wore One Year Ago
I’m reprising the bow tie and sweater I wore in my inaugural WIWT post one year ago today.
Thanks again to all the good folks who have followed me, checked in here, liked and reblogged posts, and sent me kind and supportive messages in the last year. And a special shout out to fellow teacher and menswear enthusiast Eric of acutestyle, and general nice guy Alex of mr.danger/superdanger fame for being such upstanding dudes in the first weeks after I started this tumblr. Have a great New Year’s Eve everybody and see you in 2013!
