There’s a Dormeuil Trunk Show happening today at Wingtip in San Francisco from 12-7pm. More info here. I popped in to Wingtip yesterday after my trip to Cable Car Clothiers and had a nice chat with its owner, Ami, and was sad that I’d miss the opportunity to ogle some luxurious suiting fabrics.
Even if you’re not in the market for fabric for your next bespoke commission (I know I’m not), there is a nice sale going on at Wingtip (both in store and online). I came very close to pulling the trigger on a wool/silk Seaward & Stearn solid pocket square with four different colored rolled edges. Very versatile. Though the website lists them at $79, they’re reduced to $51 in store—which is a pretty solid price for a S & S pocket square, though still a little rich for my blood…
