Vintage Bargains: Ashear Pochette/Pocket Squares
A great manufacturer of pocket squares and pochettes that I come across with some frequency while thrifting, and are fairly widely available on ebay, is Ashear. I don’t know much about the company, whether it was Italian or American, but all of the vintage Ashear pocket squares that I own were manufactured in Italy and feature beautiful handrolled edges like those on the pochette pictured above. I thrifted this one for $2, and they can esaily be had on ebay for between ~$10-20. If you like to add a little verve to your outfits with a nice pocket square, definitely look out for Ashear at your local thrift, and save the search in your ebay account.
