Some more pics from the weekend getaway.
I don’t only eat burgers, I’ve been known to make them too on occasion. I was even once, years ago, the midwest region’s second-runner-up in Sutter Home’s Build a Better Burger Contest, but not with this one.
This one has sliced avocado, a fried egg, applewood smoked bacon, heirloom tomatoes, sliced Claussen dill pickles, shredded iceberg lettuce, and Kraft American cheese on a buttered and grill-toasted honey wheat bun. There was no mayo to hand, and that meant foregoing ketchup which saddened me deeply…
