So I picked up a bunch of stuff at some 50% off thrift sales yesterday…Luciano Barbera and Ermenegildo Zegna shirts for $3.50 a pop, but these shoes were the real steal of the day.
Some essentially brand new (worn maybe once or twice) Walk-Over chocolate suede derbys from Salvation Army’s 50% off red tag (i.e., ‘finer things’) sale. The craziest part of it is that I’ve been stalking these exact Derbys on Zappos where they’ve been reduced to $137.99 from their original price of $250, and I was contemplating pulling the trigger on them using a gift card I’d recently received…But instead, I got them for $14.50!
